About Me

I live on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with an artist, four cats, and a parrot. Life is good.

Many of my story ideas have been inspired by sculptures created by my brilliant creative partner, artist Steven Lee Smeltzer.

Life is a journey and we have always tried to remain open to new experiences. Steven and I have set up a creature shop for a computer animation company in Florida; worked as associate producers and set designers on a television pilot; had our characters featured in the young children’s CGI movie Dwegons and Leprechauns, which is now available on DVD; worked with author/screenwriter Mark Leiren-Young.

Currently my focus is on writing Book Three of Sweet Desire, Wicked Fate, though along with writing and sculpting, Steven and I are also working with producer Debra Bassett on several of our movie concepts.
