The most wonderful creatures show up outside of my office door.
Found a baby turtle from our pond napping in front of my office.

Wray Ardan
Wray Ardan lives on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with an artist, two cats, and a parrot. Her story ideas have been inspired by sculptures created by her partner, artist Steven Lee Smeltzer.
“Life is a journey and we have always tried to remain open to new experiences. Steven and I have set up a creature shop for a computer animation company in Florida; worked as associate producers and set designers on a television pilot; had our characters featured in the young children’s CGI movie.”
Encouraged by the amazing young adults that are dedicated to having a positive impact on the world around us, Ardan started the blog, DaKine Teens+ that highlights teens that are Pono. Da Kine is Hawaiian Pidgin, meaning, “The Kind.” Pono is Hawaiian for “Do the right thing.” Check out DAKINE TEENS+.
Having recently completed the Violet novella, The Experiment, a prequel to Sweet Desire, Wicked Fate, Ardan is currently focused on writing book three to the trilogy.

“There is no app for adventure, and no
